Hilda Ellison from Dam House on Hale Road, Speke and Arthur Peters from Woolton were married on 17th August 1935 in All Saints, Speke.
Arthur is the brother of Robert Peters in the first photo.
Hilda and Arthur are the parents of Dame Mary Peters, 1972 Olympic Gold medallist whose brother John sent us this lovely photo from Sydney, Australia
